Dade Family Counseling, Inc. is a community based non-profit agency that provides comprehensive outpatient counseling services. We are proud to have been serving the public since 1989, and pride ourselves in thoroughly assessing our clients and tailoring our services to suit their needs. We allow the client to effectively address emotional, psychological, and behavioral issues without unnecessary disruptions to the client’s occupational and family life. Even though DFC is a private non-profit organization, we do not receive any State grants or county funding. We manage our budget based on what our clients pay following a sliding fee scale, based on their income.

The agency was primarily an outpatient substance abuse program at its inception but has dramatically expanded its services in the last decade. We have come a long way from our original office in Hialeah in 1989 to our current 4 sites in Miami Gardens, Southwest Miami, Little Havana, and of course, Hialeah. Aside from continuing to be a Department of Children and Families licensed substance abuse evaluation and treatment program and a DUI treatment provider, we now also offer other counseling services. . The agency is a certified Batterer’s Intervention Program, provides individual, couples and family counseling, and has in place an Anger Management and Parenting Skills program. We have increased our referral services to include State and Federal Probation clients, DCF contracted private provides, EAP’s and voluntary clients.
